David’s storytelling sits at the intersection of grit and escapism. His love of filmmaking began at 13, when he begged his parents for a camera to film himself doing flips on the family trampoline. Before long, that camera was following him and his friends as they made their own parkour videos.

A graduate of Film & Broadcasting from DIT, David has found his natural home in commercial fashion and lifestyle filmmaking. His work places real characters in familiar settings, then pushes those worlds somewhere heightened, unexpected and surreal.

Fun fact: David reached the live semi-final of Ireland’s Got Talent as part of a parkour team.
